Grief is something we will all endure, yet how we live with it is deeply personal.

I’m in a privileged place to listen and support people on their journey.

Grief Therapy is a chance to be witnessed in your experience of it, no matter where you are on the journey. Grief is not one size fits all and you are not alone.

I support clients to feel seen, understood and lighter. To feel equipped to navigate the physical and emotional tolls of loss as it ebbs and flows, and to live your fullest life.

My Approach:

If you’re accessing grief therapy with me, I nurture a safe place to share, be silent, be loud, to inquire and be curious. It’s all part of a process.

There is no right or wrong way to grieve, and there are certainly no time limits. I name this with you from our first session. I often meet clients who have been told by others or society that they might be doing this wrong, or not well enough. We can ‘should’ all over ourselves in life, and in grief this can feel extremely iscolating.

I use language with intention and purpose. There is no getting over, moving on, or you and your grief being anything to ‘fix’. How you arrive and how you share is all valid, it has it’s place with me here.

We observe your grief together. This might look like what’s going on for you in the present day, to go to the past and reflect, to remind ourselves that living with grief is not about forgetting, but remembering.

Remember who remains in your life now — your scaffold of support, that matters in grieving. Grief holds many unspoken things, so relationships often change. Notice your body and what it stores. I’ll guide you back to your breath and help you feel where and how you’re holding these emotions.

I’ll guide you to journal during our sessions. It can really help with therapy. I can give prompts, or you can write however you prefer. This is for your own exploration, but if it feels like part of a creative process and you want to share anything in a session, you’re more than welcome to.
