A bit about me.When it works therapy with the right therapist can be life changing.
I don’t take this privilege lightly and I really appreciate you being here, whether this is your first step towards therapy or whether you’re experienced in this process and looking to get back into it - I welcome you.
I care about therapy and the healing process. The client–therapist relationship is everything, it creates a safe, trusting space to explore deeper issues. I focus on compassion and always put you first, meeting you with warmth, curiosity, and respect. Therapy isn’t just for problems; it’s a tool for self-reflection, personal growth, and ongoing development.
Prior to training as a therapist I was an actress for 15 years working in TV and theatre. It was brilliant when I was working! It’s a challenging industry and eventually I fell out of love with it.
My own grief journey began when I was 21 when my father died. When my mother died some years after, I was catapulted into a life I didn’t want nor recognised and I suffered for a long time.
I then found my own therapy journey. A therapist listened, and my life changed. It gave me a path: join a community, support others, and share the common pain of loss. I felt seen and understood.
I trained as a Drama and Movement Therapist at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. Shortly after graduating in 2015 I worked at Grief Encounter supporting bereaved children and their families. There I trained in their Good Grief programme as a Grief and Bereavement Therapist.
I’ve worked as a therapist in mainstream schools, the NHS, charities, and palliative care homes.
I started my private practice in 2022.
I currently work as a therapist at Self Space, a contemporary mental health service here in London. I have been a part of this dynamic company and community since 2018. Here I hold a small number of clients and participate in talks and workshops within the grief community.
